About the Camp
Missionaire Aviation Camp is an exciting, hands-on aviation experience designed to introduce high school students to the fundamentals of flight and the aviation industry. Hosted by Missionaire at the Temple Executive Air Center (TEAC), this week-long day camp engages students through hands-on flight training, interactive ground school, airport tours, and direct mentorship from experienced pilots, aviation professionals, and certified flight instructors (CFI). Students will gain both technical knowledge and personal inspiration to explore aviation-related careers. Alongside practical aviation training, the camp encourages personal growth, teamwork, and leadership, inspiring students to “fly higher” in all areas of their lives. Whether they’re curious about a future in aviation or simply eager to learn new skills, participants will gain valuable knowledge and memorable experiences that will shape their academic and career paths.
What Students Will Gain:
- A basic understanding of aviation concepts and terminology, including principles of flight, navigation, aircraft inspections, and safety.
- Experience the excitement of flight through actual flying opportunities. (Contingent upon weather)
- Strengthen leadership abilities and grow in confidence as they collaborate with other students and navigate new challenges.
- Be encouraged and equipped to pursue further aviation training and explore potential future careers or ministries in aviation.
What's Included:
During this week, students will get a minimum of 10 hours of total flight time, 5 hours of logged flight instruction, 10 hours of total ground school, 5 hours of logged ground instruction, a logbook, and a t-shirt. A $2,500 value for just $1,495!

When is it? July 28- August 1, 2025
What time? This camp will last 4 hours per day. There are two sessions. One in the morning from 8-12, and one in the afternoon from 1-5.
What experience is needed? None!
How old do I have to be? This camp is for high school students ages 13- 18.
Do I need to bring anything? The only thing that is required is a willingness to learn and a serious engagement in the process.
What should I wear? Light weight clothes because summer flying can get warm and closed toed shoes.
